Symbol rights and appropriate usage are key to accurately marketing your kosher products.  Keep in mind: the OK Kosher Certification Mark is a registered trademark exclusively licensed to OK Kosher (USPTO #74654429).  Read on about how to ensure your OK Kosher certification mark, speaks, to your customers the way it should.

OK Kosher Symbol Rights and Restrictions

Retail items, when applicable, display classifications next to the OK symbol. This makes the specific kosher status of the product clear to the consumer.  these include Pareve, Dairy, Dairy Equipment, Meat, Fish, Passover, etc. Pareve products may display either the OK symbol unaccompanied, or with the word Pareve underneath or to the side (see featured image).

Kosher Certificates

OK Kosher certificates may be used and distributed by the company named on the certificate, and anyone they designate, provided that it’s distributed without modification and in accordance with the applicable OK Kosher Certification agreements. The certificate may not be distributed after the termination of the customer’s certification with OK Kosher Certification

A Note to Consumers

We want to remind consumers that products are only endorsed as kosher when bearing the emblem on their labels. Similarly, eating establishments are only certified when displaying a valid kosher certificate. Changes in kosher status may occur unexpectedly as a result of reformulation. Kosher updates appear regularly on our site and in other media.
