Rabbi Don Yoel Levy, CEO of OK Kosher, and Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld, Food Service Director at OK Kosher, met with Sephardic Cheif Rabbi Rav Yitzchok Yosef shlit”a at the Marina Roshcha Community Building in Moscow on December 16, 2019.

The Rishon Letzion listened with admiration to the description of the computerized system used by the OK to efficiently record and process kosher data, ensuring maximum control of the hundreds of thousands of raw materials, and the manner of supervision carried out by hundreds of overseers and rabbis scattered around the world. The Rishon Letzion expressed hope for more meetings to learn more about the successful system. Rav Yosef expressed his admiration for Rabbi Weinfeld’s description of the existing system in restaurants and catering and hotels, which strictly adheres to Cholov Yisroel, Chassidishe Shechita, and in certain communities adhering to the standard of Beit Yosef.
