Piece Of Velvet was started by Englishman Michael Morgan with a collective of staff. It has grown into 4 locations, commissary kitchen and wholesale business in a 3 year span, mostly due to the exceptional quality of the cake and the process used for baking.
The unique passion for selling only “velvet” based cakes focuses on a high standard of moisture, which involves a detailed process and achieves smoothness in each bite. The reputation of flavor paired with a dedication to texture, has seen flavor combinations such as Blueberry Vanilla Brandy and the Pineapple Cream Cheese to name two of over 20 rotated daily flavors.
