Wendy Kaufman, the famous "Snapple Lady," drove up to the OK in her dramatic Snapple sedan earlier today. Kaufman, called “the essence of the Snapple brand,” was here to visit with employees of the organization responsible for Snapple’s kosher certification. At a sit down meeting with select OK officials, Kaufman, who is Jewish, obstinately refused to eat a thing. Is the OK not kosher enough for Wendy Kaufman? Hardly. It is only that Wendy is presently adhering to yet another strict consumption regimen… Atkins diet! Kaufman’s visit served to reinforce the warm relationship that the OK Kosher Certification has enjoyed with Snapple over many years. Kaufman handed out autographed 8x10 “Snapple Lady” pictures to delighted OK employees. She also promised to work to expedite the delivery of a highly anticipated Snapple vending machine to OK headquarters in Brooklyn. The enduring relationship between Snapple and the OK is a logical one, as both organizations are simply made of “the best stuff on earth!”
