However, the “D - Dairy” designation was inadvertently omitted from the package. The product is indeed certified by the cRc as dairy, cholov stam.

Shop Rite Instant Hot Cocoa Mix - Milk Chocolate Flavor UPC: 4119001760 Company: Wakefern Food Corp.: A limited amount of this OU-D certified product was inadvertently sold with packets containing non-kosher marshmallows. Affected product is limited to those products bearing the date code Oct. 30 10. Consumers should contact their Rabbi to determine the status of utensils that have come in contact with the above product.

Eating Right Jalapeno Jack Flavored Seven Grain Chips, Lucerne Foods - Pleasanton, CA: This product contains dairy ingredients as listed on the ingredient panel but the OU dairy designation has been inadvertently omitted. Future packaging will be revised.

Recent packages of Jewel Brand Lemonade were inadvertently printed without the cRc on the label. This product continues to be under the strict supervision of the cRc as kosher and pareve. Future labels will be corrected to include the cRc logo.

Please be aware that there ia a cothing brand called A. Prodigee that has Hashem's name spelled out in Hebrew Letters on its clothing. L'Chatchila, it must be treated with the halachos of shaimos which include not being taken into unclean areas. The clothing line can be found at many brand name retail stores.


Products from Turano Baking Company, Berwyn, IL, are no longer under supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of New England even with the KVH symbol on it. The kosher emblem is being removed from the packaging.

Satis Pie, LLC Ready to Bake pies certified by the Kof-K are certified as kosher dairy. The dairy designation was inadvetently omitted from a limited amount of shipper cases. Future shipper cases will be corrected.

Maijer Naturals Woodsey Wildlife Oatmeal Animal Cookies and Woodsey Wildlife Vanilla Cookies were mislabeled Kof-K. The products are Kof-K Dairy. Corrective measures are being taken.

Triscuits Parmesan Garlic Thin Crisps, certified by the OU, were mislabled OU. They are OU-D. Corrective measures are being taken.

CREAM-O-LAND brand milk bears an unauthorized Star-K. Star-K does not certify any CREAM-O-LAND milk and the milk is not cholov Yisroel. The milk is sold in the Tri-State area. Corrective action is being taken and consumers will see “NOT STAR-K” printed on each bottle label. Signs to this effect are being posted in stores.

Johnson & Johnson, the manufacturer of LISTERINE POCKETPAKS has informed KOF-K Kosher Supervision that they will be discontinuing kosher certification of LISTERINE POCKETPAKS as of July 1, 2009. In anticipation of this change, Johnson & Johnson has revised packaging to no longer bear the KOF-K Kosher symbol. Due to potential consumer confusion, Kof-K Kosher Supervision recommends LISTERINE POCKETPAKS only when bearing the Kof-K symbol.
