12/22/03 - Children of OK staff visit headquarters on Chanukah
 

The OK Kosher Certification hosted its first annual “Bring your child to work” Chanukah party.

The event, which catered to children ages 2-12 (with older children assisting with programming for the younger ones), drew dozens of excited youngsters.

The OK’s expansive conference room, ordinarily reserved for intense rabbinic discussion and company interaction, was transformed into a Chanukah play land, overflowing with holiday decorations and treats.

In addition to hearing a dramatic retelling of the Chanukah story (from star OK Rabbinic Coordinator/Storyteller Rabbi Yitzchak Hanoka), creating original crafts, and enjoying a delicious catered lunch, the children were treated to a masterful private performance from the OK’s own star musician… Rabbi Chaim Fogelman.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to explore the work environment of their parents, as well as making new friends from within the warm pool that is the OK family!
